Impressive performance
The Hitachi EH3500AC-3 Rigid Hauler is designed to work with Hitachi’s EX2600-6, EX3600-6, and EX5600-6 ultra-large excavators and is built for tough environments with exceptional hauling capabilities. Starting from a standstill, traveling uphill, or performing steering manoeuvres, the Advanced Hitachi AC Drive System ensures smooth and quick operation.
The pitch control system prevents the truck from bouncing and rebounding when traveling over uneven ground and stopping. The side skid control system reduces the chance of slipping when the truck is turning in slippery conditions by utilising changes in the wheel motor torque from left to right during cornering.
By reducing tyre slippage on acceleration and tyre lock-up during braking, Hitachi has achieved a high level of control on its dump trucks. The Hitachi EH3500AC-3 offers impressive travel performance that ensures consistent haul cycle times, contributing to higher productivity.
Easy operation
The spacious cabin can accommodate two full-size seats and features a large multilingual LCD screen prominently displayed for the operator. This provides important information and alerts on operations such as travelling speed, engine RPM and hauling performance, and is invaluable for improved safety and easy maintenance.
The Hitachi EH3500AC-3 Rigid Hauler is made easy to operate thanks to the inclusion of several features by Hitachi. Normal operation requires only two pedals – one for acceleration and another for the brakes. The levers and switches for operating the body and direction change are located on the centre console, which means that they are within close range of the operator and easy to use.
