Why am I getting a message that I haven't signed the terms and conditions?
Due to changing legislation, it is necessary to re-sign Volvo’s Terms and Conditions.
How do I accept the new Terms and Conditions?
You or your CareTrack administrator may have already received an email from Volvo (Connect) some time ago with the request to complete your registration for their new telematics portal. If you can find this email, please follow the instructions here to complete the registration.
What if I can't find this email or haven't received it yet?

Why do I need to agree to these Terms and Conditions from Volvo?
As with Europe, Great Britian has developed a similar version (UK Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUA Act)) which gives you more rights with your own data and the responsibility of the supplier, data is more open source for integration and your permission is required to share your data with third parties.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions:
- Available machine data from CareTrack will remain visible in MySMT
- Performance and condition-based data from your machine(s) can be monitored
- SMT can proactively support you with possible technical issues
What happens if I don't take action?
If you do not complete the registration and do not agree to the terms, there is a chance that:
- Your machine(s) and associated data may no longer be visible in MySMT
- Monitoring and proactive support could be limited or at worst, not possible
