A show like no other
Held in a limestone quarry in Derbyshire, UK, Hillhead is the largest quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. It provides a spectacular and unique setting for exhibitors and visitors alike to do business amongst live working demonstrations and static displays.
After a two year break from shows and exhibitions due to COVID-19, we are proud to announce that SMT GB will be attending Hillhead 2022 with a wide range of Volvo’s latest construction equipment and technological solutions.
Inside the stand, we will be showcasing our latest technological efficiency and productivity boosting solutions, which are focused into the categories of “Efficient Sites”, “Intelligent Data” and “Flexible Maintenance and Repair”. Not only do these solutions boast the latest technologies to help boost site, project and machine efficiency and productivity, but also reduce downtime, waste and the total cost of ownership for customers.
In the outdoor area, we will be displaying, for the first time in Great Britain, the all-new EWR130E Wheeled Excavator, EW200E Material Handler, the fifty-tonne EC530E Excavator and EC300E Hybrid Excavator. The ninety-tonne EC950F Excavator will also be working in the demonstration area.
A specially designed “electric village” will also be featured on our newly re-designed stand, offering the opportunity to see the newly expanded Volvo electric construction equipment range, which includes the EC18 Electric and ECR18 Electric compact excavators, and the L20 Electric compact wheeled loader. The ECR25 Electric will also be available on the stand.
The opportunity to see the new range of electric machines working in mock real-world applications will also be available, as demo shows will take place on the stand daily at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00.
